Aliciouslife: A walk in the park

Last weekend a friend from Cameroon came to visit with her gorgeous little son and we decided to make a walk around springtime Schönbrunn gardens her first impression of Vienna. It was such a beautiful day and warm enough to not need a jacket.

Because we had a child with us we didn’t walk as briskly as we usually do and thus had more time to take in the picturesque views of Schönbrunn palace and its surrounding park with all those trees  and bushes sprouting as if there was no tomorrow.

This year more than ever it seemed to me that the plants were just waiting for the weather to improve enough so they could literally shoot out their shoots and start sprouting wildly. Green leaves and flowers of all shapes and colour.

To share this colourful experience with you, I took some photos of our walk in the park:

What did you do last weekend? Anything similarly exciting maybe? Please don’t hesitate to share.
